I need to stop a growing group of House Sparrows from nesting under a building roof. I guess it will be effective only from the next season. The problem is:
- The sparrows cannot be harmed,
- The nesting holes cannot be accessed and blocked (the roof is high, long and awkwardly positioned, and the cost would be high). However, the sparrows have many alternative nesting places.
Are crow models, often sold in shops, effective against sparrows?
Anybody has experience with a fur toy, or anything resembling a cat or a mammal predator, positioned on/close to the roof?
