Hi

Please help id-ing the below birds. All images were taken near Chennai in South India.

1) Pipit id help
2) Pipit id help
3) Is it possible to id this pipit? The continuously streaked upperparts from the crown to the back through the mantle make me wonder if it is a Blyth's
4) Snipe id help - Common?
5) Some Locustellidae species? Sorry about the poor pic quality. This one was so active and I couldn't even get a good view.

Thanks a lot.
Ajay

3 is a Baya Weaver Ajayr-Streaked Weaver has more heavily streaked (darker) upperparts.

Agree with the rest.

Grahame

Thanks, Grahame. The baya is a common species in the location indeed. Somehow, I completely missed considering the yellowish tone, which should've made me think of a weaver rather than a pipit.
