Repair for Kowa scope (1 Viewer)

I have an old non ED 663 that could use a tune up. Especially that metal band - it is no longer tight or gripping so that the scope tends to slide sideways.
Do people usually send to the manufacture? Or if out of warranety are there other places that work on spotting scopes that do a good job? I'm in the US

Thanks,

Mary

Mary,

I don't know but I have a high opinion of USA Kowa repair. I bought an 883 with lifetime warrenty and after slipping on the ice sent it in to Kowa. They took it apart to work on the prizm and even repaired a small dent on the body so I couldn't even see where it was. It came back shortly looking and working like new.

Call them up for an estimate and compare to somebody local - I do know that Kowa USA can be trusted.
