A small shark of some sort - in UK waters, it'd be called a dogfish.

Yes, I also thought it was a shark.
As a matter of fact I've just got a response from a tour operator who takes customers fishing in the same area. He says it is a lemon shark. Of course lemon sharks could grow up to 10 feet, so let's say it was a baby lemon shark.
