How long to repair? (1 Viewer)

Hi all,
I sent my 1 year old Minox binos out to Minox in New Hampshire (USA)
for repair. The diopter & an eyecup are broken. I was told that the binos
had to be sent to an unspecified location on the US west coast
for repair. Minox claims 4-6 weeks will be the time
for repair. I am curious if people on the list who have
dealt with Minox think that timeline is realistic. Also how good a job do
they do on repairs?
Thanks,
Neil

I dropped my 8x43 MIG HGs and damaged one the eye cups. I sent the bins to Minox UK who then sent them off to the factory in Germany for repair. The turnaround was 3 weeks from me sending them off to getting them back again and they were as new. The good news was that the repair was free despite the damage being my own fault.

I am afraid I don't know how the system works in the US, though.

Hi Ron,
Please accept my belated thanks for your reply. Does anyone have experience with Minox warranty service in the US? How quick were they? How good a job did they do?
Thanks,
Neil
