Found in an area frequented by Reed Bunting, but streaky head and plain face have thrown me.

Linnet would make the most sense, but I felt the streaking on the mantle was too heavy? Another photo attached.

It doesn't particularly look much like either in that pic. Another suggestion from that one would be a partially leucistic House Sparrow but I'm far from convinced.

This is the best also I can think of. A really odd bird just too grey overall for a normal Sparrow. Those think pinkish legs certainly exclude Linnet or Redpoll.
