Do Peregrine Falcons hunt for fish at sea? (1 Viewer)

This individual flew in from the shoreline carrying a fish, which surprised me.

Of course, it could be that the fish was already dead and washed up ashore before getting scooped up by the bird.

Another option - kleptoparasitism, stealing it from a seabird that had caught it :t:


A pretty amazing record though, I've never heard of them eating fish before!
