First visitor at the new bird feeder (1 Viewer)

After a couple of years of not having a bird feeder.. I put one up in the parking lot behind my apt near the trees.

Lastnight before heading out.. I saw a pair of red finches..male and female and a female cardinal had landed on this trellis in my neighbours yard not far from the feeder.

Managed to get a shot of this black capped chickadee.. maybe I'll get the red finches this afternoon.

Black capped chickadee looks very like a UK coal tit.

Are they the same or even related ? Excuse my ignorance !
