Sorry for the quality of the pics but the weather was not good (Well that's my excuse).

I am pleased with getting some Kestrel pics at last because I allways seem to scare them off.

The Sparrowhawk pics are taken from a bedroom window and are shots of a regular visitor.

Max.

Hi Max,

Glad to see my ID on your other thread was right - phew!

The sparrowhawk is a beauty - is he using your feeders (if you have any) as a fast food restaurant ?

Excellent shots Max. Annoyingly since birding more seriously 2 years ago I haven't seen a perched male, but philosophically good things come to those who wait.

Thanks for the comments everyone. The Sparrowhawk is a fairly regular visitor to my neighbours garden (and to a lesser extent to my garden). She is a very keen feeder of birds putting a variety of feed all over her garden every day which attracts lots of birds. The Sparrowhawk knows this and is also attracted there.

Max.
