Björn Bergenholtz

(former alias "Calalp")
Sweden
Fumbling my way (literaly) through the Type speciemens at the Natural History Museum in Stockholm, Sweden, I happened to find this bird ... and some minor additional info on ...

krausei as in:
•the invalid "Corvus corax krausei" ZEDLITZ 1908 (here, in text):
Ich schlage als Namen Corvus corax krausei zu Ehren des bekannten Oologen G. Krause vor und ...
= the German oologist Georg Krause, (1858–1915), whose full name was Georg Albert Julius Krause, Author of Oologia universalis palaearctica, [which I think was issued in 78 parts (!), later bound in three volumes, 1905-1913] ... and onwards.

If of any interest?

Björn
