Environmental organisations are deeply concerned that plans for a new M4 relief road may be back. They call on the Welsh Government not to be railroaded by the Westminster agenda and drop the damaging scheme once and for all, especially when there are so many sustainable alternatives now being considered.

And in earlier threads on this topic we had supporters of the governments environmental policies assuring us that the government had no intention of riding roughshod over the landscape , and that we should be giving the government more room to manouever on environmental policies. Well here is the tip of the iceberg.

I think you'll find that, far from being 'supporters of the Government's...policies', the contributors you appear to take exception to are people who actually work within the industry and are therefore best-placed to comment in a professional capacity. A common theme running through the other thread was the pointlessness of just banging on about 'the capitalist system' or similar nonsense, rather than actually coming up with an intelligent alternative.

Not taking exception mate , just really don't want the government to get its way on this one.
