I saw these two in Sequoia National Park back in August. The first was in the Mineral King area of the park and the second was not far from Giant Forest. Maybe number 2 is a young Junco?

Hi! Number 2 is a fox sparrow, from the californian thick billed population. I think that number 1 is a young junco.
