Bluebird of happiness? (1 Viewer)

I live in middle, Ga., USA and have a bluebird box in my backyard, used for several years.
My kitchen has 2 windows and a door, above each is a small 1/2 circle window. These 3 small windows face about 20* apart=not aimed at the same compass point=different reflections re. the sun position.
For the past 4 days an Eastern Bluebird has spent the entire day pecking on these 3 small windows. It sits on a ledge, flies up a foot os, peckes the window.......................changes windows............continues.
What is it doing?

Hello there Wally and a warm welcome to you from those of us on staff here at BirdForum :t:

Dave's right. It is fighting off a threat (himself) to its territory.
