I think #1 is honey buzzard and #2 is common buzzard? Both taken in the vicinity of Hamburg

I meant the other eay around ;) Was sure that the white bird was something different! Ah well.

Do you agree that this pic I posted last week is honey buzzard?

At least in Northern Germany, the Common Buzzard is highly variable and keeps bird watcher on their toes all the time. Light juveniles can be extra confusing.
