Hi this is a moth I found on my mirror may/June in the UK, after exhausting my resources I came to the conclusion of a thorn moth but the curl on the top wing has thrown me I look forward to your replies regards

What an unusual looking beastie that is Claire. Hopefully someone will know what it is.
