Hello Again

Another juvenile wheatear in que which was also photographed by a friend of mine . I identified as eastern-black eared wheatear where there was also some confusion with Finsch's wheatear . The white edges to the tail feathers were a bit confusing .

Again your help is highly appreciated to confirm and ID

I think the time and location rule out Finsch's.

In some aspects this resembles juvenile Mourning - the black flight feathers, orangey greater covert wingbar, black greater coverts, yellowish vent and the tail pattern looks right. However, the head doesn't appear to be grey like a typical juvenile Mourning (there was one on the forum a couple of days ago, identified by Grahame) and there isn't much of a dark cheek. I'm not sure it looks quite right structurally either.

Ah , that was very helpful info Andy . Actually none though it would have been a Mourning wheatear , but I saw one Adult last year in the same area .
