Hi Diego,

Very close indeed! Carlos Sanchez and I got there late on the 23rd and left on the morning of the 28th. My 3rd visit to Intervales in 20 years since my first visit. We were there during the time that a VENT birding tour group led by Kevin Zimmer was also there. On our first day out (10/24) we came up Carmo road and the VENT group had an immature Gray-bellied Hawk which they graciously pointed out to us. Probably the rarest sighting of our 3 week sojourn through SE Brazil.
