Went to Burton Mill Pond to try and see the Purple Heron that has been there a while now,fully expected to dip and wasn't disappointed 😀My history with em is not good,but have seen one in the past so not that bothered.
Main reason to go was to visit the Mill Pond one of the few birding places I haven't visited in Sussex since I've been living in the county. Seems a lovely place and some some good birds including a Hobby, a Woodlark and several Grey Wagtails were the highlights
