I would be gratefull if someone could ID this fungi found on my local patch today

Auricularia auricula-judae or the less prosaic sounding 'Jews Ear' fungus, owing tom Judas hanging himself on the Elder bush I'm led to believe and nothing antisemetic...

Edible when fresh,try them in milk they taste like rubber surprisingly enoughB :)
