The attached shrike looked different to any I'd seen before and the nearest I can come to it is a first winter masked shrike. Can you confirm my findings.

Appears to be an oiled 1st winter Grey Shrike from these shots AJ, the wing pattern/jizz favouring Lesser. Any side on shots?

Structures wrong for Masked, bill too big, tail length etc
