Turkey Lake Park,Orlando (1 Viewer)

Had to go to Orlando today,so left a bit early and visited one of the local parks,Turkey Lake.There was nobody around other than one fisherman and,more importantly, lots of birds.
In a couple of hours wandering around this 300 acre site,I saw about 30 different species,(list to follow) and very pleasant it was indeed.
For anyone visiting Orlando,it is about 20 minutes drive from the main tourist areas and for those on a family-type Theme Park holiday,a good place to get in some birding without having to travel too far.It's easy to find,the entrance being situated on Hiawassee Road.The following link gives details;
