12 Hummingbird Species - one spot (1 Viewer)

At the end of March we visited an Orchid Grower near Embu, Sao Paulo, Brazil with 12 species of hummingbirds attending their well-maintained feeders. What a spectacle! And to think I missed others that may have been there, or come at different seasons. The owners had nice photos of Amethyst Woodstar, that I missed.

Here's what we did see, and photograph:

Scale-throated Hermit
Swallowtailed Hummingbird
Black Jacobin
Festive Coquette
Glittering-bellied Emerald
Sapphire-spangled Emerald
Versicolored Emerald
Brazilian Ruby
Black-throated Mango
Violet-capped Woodnymph
Sombre Hummingbird
White-throated Hummingbird

Attached are some group photos, though better images of individuals are in my gallery. Here are some missing from the attached images:

Isn't it cool? I know in Ecuador that number to observe would be close but even then, 12 is one great number. they are like bees...all over the place and almost hitting you at times eh? Way cool...
