We have 37 entries for this months photo theme challenge. There a good selection of both bird species and settings.

30 entries have been selected for inclusion in the voting booth were felt best fitted the theme of Bird Silhouettes.

Apologies to everyone who's entry didn't make it to the voting stage.

This is an interesting theme - I wasn't sure what to expect but it was a hard choice with some very nice entries!

The winners are -

A well supported competition this month with 85 members casting their vote. Looks like we may use this category again in the future.

Joint winner this month with 10/85 votes are -

IVANHOE with Reddish Egret at sunrise

and

hotspot birding with White-faced Ibis at sunrise


Third place with 8/85 votes goes to -

I agree with Helios. Perhaps for future competitions the voting booth thumbnail could be shown more frequently and obviously as I am sure that a lot more members would vote if they were aware of the competition. Considering that we have well over 100,000 members I am disappointed to see such a feeble response.
