Hi all Brandon Marsh reserve Midlands UK.

Could this be a grasshopper warbler? Although I have heard them I do not have a confirmed sighting.

It is probably a reedy, but the legs look quite pale? And there was a grasshopper "singing" in the reeds.

I think it's a Reed Warbler. Grasshopper should have dark feather tips on the UTCs and generally more dark markings.

I also think it's an Acrocephalus. A Locustella would have longer undertail coverts.

They're not so much of a reedbed bird, so give grasslands with rushes a try as well. Best of luck on your quest!
