Goldcrest visiting and using Birdbath? (2 Viewers)

No apparent reason why they shouldn't, but I've never witnessed a Regulus doing just that in all the years that I've been birding (too many), however yesterday was ''the day''.

Initially It appeared to do a ''dip/sip'' and out, almost in the manner of a hirundine, before eventually landing and began to take water from the edge.

Have others observed this (for me phenomena?)

Just twice in 50 years of garden birdwatching, moreso on Autumn visits to St. Mary's Isles of Scillies at a wooded drinking pool, also Firecrest and many other passerines.
