Kissimmee state park, florida (1 Viewer)

Hi, anyone stayed in Kissimmee and tried to get here using public transport? Stayed in Orlando last time and no bus/taxi drivers had heard of it. Reception staff were less than helpful - saying they`d never heard of it - even when I pointed to it on a map pinned on the wall in front of them!

Going back in a few weeks and would like to be more prepared.

I assume you are referring to Lake Kissimmee State Park,which is a good hour's drive from Orlando/Kissimmee and would not be accessible by public transport.
Its down towards Lake Wales,via US 27.

If you can go by car,its a really good site.I can give you any details you need,if indeed this is the Park to which you are referring.
