hi , springwatch is hgreat this year but rather sad at the loss of so many chicks . i was , though ,amazed at the peregrine cam at the church in bath wjhere there are 3 birds looking after the young. the youner one was a chick from last year and though inexperienced he has been helping to rear the 3 chicks. it was interesting t6 see th5s as 5t had never been seen before.
nature is certainly amusing at times!.Ynys-hir is a great reserve ,was there last year and hoping to go in a couple of weeks time .wonder if i`ll see that mink who ate the kingfisher chicks ? an otter would be better.
