Common House Spider - Big. (1 Viewer)

Aftere three days, I finally caught this beast. I'd seen it on several occasions around the house but it was laways too quick for me, until today.

This spiders is easily filling a 4.5cm diamer pot. I estimate it's leg span to be about 7-8 cm so would that put it at the big end of the scale for the species?

I've never seen a bigger one.
