I was informed the Loggerhead Kingbird was the 2nd record for the USA. The bird showed well pictures to follow. What a bird to finish a trip on!!

My wildlife recorder shows this bird as my 965 lifer of 981 species/sub species recorded.

Wow well done mate. When did you start? My UK life list is on 280 at the moment but I'm only 15:-O
I dont have a world list but it probably wont be that big as i've only been to Sweden, France and Italy, though none of them were birding trips!

I started birding in 1999 during a trip to Tobago but did not really get hooked until 2001. You have a good UK list already there will be plenty of time for you to travel.

I enjoy the challenge of planning the trips and then finding the birds when I get out there. I do use guides sometimes but generally the trips are self generated... with help from Birdforum members as well.

I hope you have as enjoyable time birding as I do.
