Time is a Shadow

The article tells about how he began his birding career by:
"Accompanying his four sons as they hiked about earning their Boy Scout bird-watching merit badges, Winter began
hearing songs and seeing colors and forms that he
had never noticed before."

"For the next 40-plus years, Winter traveled the world earning his own merit badge of sorts: a top-10 position on the American Birding Association's list of lifetime bird
sightings."

I found the article to be very interesting.
