Gull Germany baltic sea (1 Viewer)

Hi W.W.

Structure, big headed with high forehead, fully rounded neck and short-legged and perhaps to rosy-pink impression (compare with the other gull) might not suggest the classic Caspian shape.

However - though it has a Herring feel to it - the slender parallel edged bill with a gentle curved tip, greyish bill base, small looking dark (?) eye, streaked neck, the size of the white primary tips may suggest a 3cy type Caspian.

Any more images?

to me it definitely has a cachi-feel. bill tip is blurry in the pic, def. not too bulky, and looking at the head's shape and with those small eyes it is hard to think of herring. but of course, i could be fooled by this first impression.
