Don't see this bird very often. Usually only a few times a year. It's a pretty little bird, hope it sticks around a while so I can get a few more shots of it.

Shot through a window with my Fuji S4800. Which has been working flawlessly for the last few days. (Although looking over past photos taken in similar conditions, it seems a bit noisier than it used to be).I had to assure my wife with great sincerity that I did NOT purposefully sabotage my Fuji...

I can't remember the last time I've seen this sparrow.

    American Tree Sparrow?

One more look at what's turning out to be a bit of a contentious little bird. A suggested by MTEM(Mick) a front view to show the dark spot on the breast that the ATS shows. This bird also has double wing bars, but they just don't show all the time. There is another one that comes to the feeders...

    American Tree Sparrow?

Having a nosh on a rainy day today. I've been calling this guy a swamp sparrow, but someone pointed out that it looks more like an American Tree Sparrow. After doing a bit of looking around online he is probably correct, and in that case this is a lifer for me, as I don't remember ever seeing...

Had this little swamp sparrow drop in yesterday. He ignored the sunflower seeds, seeming instead to prefer the cheap birdseed with corn in it. He has the same tastes as the juncos, as they do that too. EDIT: This is most likely an American Tree Sparrow

While out looking for eagles at one of the local spots we found a small flock of these Tree Sparrows hanging around. These are another "winter" bird for us seen usually as it gets colder.

    American Tree Sparrow AK SER'13

Members of this species were singing on their breeding territories in willow thickets on the flood plain of the Canning River, ANWR, Alaska. The American common name for this species is a misnomer. It's habitat does not consist primarily of trees, nor does in breed in trees.

American Tree Sparrow (Spizella arborea subsp. arborea) Photographed on the south side of the Pecatonica River in Harrison, Winnebago County, Illinois, USA. Open hackberry/elm woods in town at ca. 225 m (738 ft) elevation. I will be gone for a couple of weeks. My wife and I are taking a trip...

I don't see this bird very often and it may be the first captured, I'd have to check, but it was all alone and only showed the one day. The spot on the chest is there but not showing in this image.
