    usually the trre pipit and all other pipits are on the ground and have to go down to be eye level to get nice shots. this one decided to drop here, i don't think he noticed me as i was hiding on the back. hope you like it.

    Based on JanJ's extremely helpful ID of my last photo I believe that this is another tree pipit. Whilst I prefer the pose of the other photo I feel that the bird looks more natural in this picture

    Haven't seen one of these for a while. First time I have got a shot of one. He sang for a while then headed of on his characteristic parachuting display/song flight, off to another tree.
