    Fortuitous, but I'll take this anytime. This woodpigeon had a good freshen up in the birdbath, shook itself and took off as I pressed the button.

    It's a few degrees above freezing but this blackbird was intent on having a vigorous cold bath. Better him than me!!

    When I came through this morning, something had been having a bath judging by the amount of water on the window. So I dried it off and waited... and waited. Various birds came in to feed, but until after 10am there's not enough light for a photo. I was standing at the window when a Dunnock...

    Female Greenfinch and male (well not quite sure) Yellowhammer was surprised bathing together by a male Greenfinch.. A tragedy... :)
