    Bearded Vulture, Gypaetus barbatus (Sakallı Akbaba)

    4 species of vultures breed in Turkey. One of them is the Bearded Vulture. In the vulture observation I made today, I was able to observe four species living in Turkey within 1 hour. The star of observation was this adult bearded vulture. Enjoy watching :)

    Bird of Prey ID pls - from Ardahan, Turkey

    Hi, Photos were taken just a week ago at Ardahan Turkey. ( North-East corner of Turkey near border of Georgia, altitude is something about 1800-2000 m) Unfortunately there is no photo at flight. Thank you in advance for your kind Bird ID comments.
