Female Merganser, Common or Red-Breasted - Camano Washington USA

I just want to be sure. Seen on the Sound nine days ago. Thanks.
  2. Fandango739

warbler type - Camano Island, Washington State USA

Seen eight days ago on the Cranberry Lake Trail. The trail winds through very large, old cedar trees with dense undergrowth. Only photos. Thanks for any help.

    Which Kinglet? Camano Washington State

Seen last week at the Cama Beach State Park, up the slope in the heavy woods with undergrowth. Only photo. The bird was not at all interested in having its picture taken and was a bit everywhere. Many thanks!

Water birds - Camano, Washington State USA

Sorry for the photo quality. Birds were seen last week, way out in the channel (near where a whale surfaced moments later). Thanks for any help!
  5. Fandango739

Adult Gulls - Camano Washington State USA

All seen last week during cold and dreary weather at a west side beach. The lighting was tricky, potentially altering the appearance / darkness of plumage. The bill extension on the first gull is actually a shell the bird is holding. Many thanks!

Loons or Grebes or...? & Common Goldeneye muddle - Camano Washington State USA

All seen last week in cold, rainy weather at a west side beach. Sometimes you can't wait for a perfect day. 1 - 4) Seen at extreme distance, well into the channel. Yes, bad photos, but the best I have of the pair. 5) The cheek patch seems Common Goldeneye, but what's with the muddled chest...

Wrens - Camano, Washington State USA

All seen this past week. 1 -4) Observed trail side in mixed boarder woods with blackberry. Extremely overcast. Bewick's, maybe? 5) Observed in old cedar woods, dense undergrowth. Only photo, sorry. Perhaps Winter Wren? If I am correct, these would both be new on my list!
