    Capercaillie at Loch Garten

    A bad photo, I know but this is the photo of my very first Capercaillie. I would like to see anyone get a decent photo from that hide when the birds are at a 400 metre range from you. I have placed it in the gallery as a link to the trip report I will post later.

    Capercaillie at Loch Garten

    The hide at Loch garten makes it virtually impossible to digiscope by virtue of the fact that the wooden floor bounces all over the place. This bird was about 400 metres away and is the best of a bad lot of shots I managed.
