these are summer visitors to Asir region, they come to breed there and usually compete with the Arabian woodpecker on the hole the woodpecker make in the tree, so if this one is in a region their must be a woodpecker around also. hope you like it.- ammadoux

this is the female, her eyes are stunning. these are summer visitors to west Saudi, they come to breed in the mountains of Hijaz and Asir, they also exist in Yemen. hope you like it.- ammadoux

Violet-backed starling
was passing by the car when i spotted them, in the shade they looked to me like swallows or that what i though, stopped and went to get them as i rarely see perched swallows, and when i saw fuchsia and violet colors i was really going to faint. so this is lifer #4, they are summer breeding...- ammadoux
