Snow bathing
No, winter is not back. Taken in December 2022 when everything was frozen. The jay used the snow like a sparrow uses the sand for a bath.- jbpixels

Snowy jay😉
Not as cold anymore. In winter we can have minus 10C or even lower. In 2012 was it up to 20C on the 24th of December in Upper Bavaria. This is our climate.- jbpixels

So glad that this Jay was not the skittish kind. It was hopping about feeding on the tree and was not in the least bothered that I was around. Later I noticed its wing bars.
