    I am not 100 percent sure of the ID, any input/corrections would be appreciated. This was taken off my dock recently. Hope you enjoy the image.

    In flight they are almost ghostly, lacking any black on the wing tips. All the adults I saw (hundreds) had this notch where the primaries meet the secondaries - moulting is slow among birds at this latitude.

    What kind of gull is this?

    Spotted this in Dunmore East on the south coast if Ireland. Certainly doesn't look like an immature Herring/GBBG to me. Is it maybe an Iceland or Glaucous gull? Both of these species have been known to winter in Ireland. Any help ID'ing this would be great. Thanks a lot, C
