Headed to Norfolk today as there were a few bits around. Dipped on the UK lifer, but was rewarded for a 7 mile hike on shingle out to Blakeney Point with cracking views of this icterine warbler.
I heard a funny noise from a bush while I was taking photos of a buterfly. I knew it had to be a young bird and was able to take this nice photo of the little fellow. Experts told me it's a young Icterine Warbler. Do you agree?
The Icterine at Burnham Overy was ridiculously confiding, happily strutting in the sand about 10 feet for us. I didn't even feel the need to throw a locust.
