    ... Riband Wave moth. There aren't all that many bird species that breed on Sark. For birds, migration seasons are better. But we did see early 400 species all told, including 71 species of moths. Our guide set a moth trap three of the nights we were there. Not that I've learned to ID them all...

    Sitting on a back window trying to avoid the rain! It should have also considered the birds, sitting target in that position.

    Showing a little bit of ageing, pretty certain this is a Riband Wave, though the discal spot on the lower wing was barely discernible , except when you looked from the underside of the moth!
