    One mighty swoop then a dive to capture this little vole. The Heron proceeded to drown the vole before flying off to swallow it. I captured the whole sequence. These are just a couple of the shots.

    This roadrunner is one of a mated pair that lives on my acre. Last year, it decided to follow me as I gardened because I would throw the grub worms out. Now, it will come quite close if it sees things it wants to eat. I'm able to talk to it as it goes about it's roadrunner business.
