    It hides its face, but you can see that in the video I uploaded yesterday. I like the way the wings are visible in this image. A bird from our feral population.

    From the feral population, a bird singing. Or at least clearly communicating with other nearby parrots. There is a little wind noise midway, and there is a little background noise from a kite hanging over the neighborhood.

    Was a very cloudy morning but I'm happy I went out birding anyway cause that morning was the closest these parrots ever let me get to them. It stared at me for a couple seconds and flew away. They're are very smart and alert.

    I can never get a clear image of these beauties. I see them sometimes in the little reserve I go birding in a farm just outside my city. They are so intelligent, they keep watching my every move, hiding behind the tree branches. And loud, oh boy they are loud. Incredible creatures.

    There is a feral population of this parrot on the island. We see them sometimes for several days in a row but with long intervals. Harsh reflections from clouds above the tree did not make it easier.
