    First chick hatched today...three more to go.

    This shot was taken a few hours before she laid her first egg. I'm afraid peregrines apart from the odd woody are all I have been doing the last 6 weeks.

    Sideways crop (50%) taken with Sigma 500f4.5 and 2X Canon MkIII converter with light weight tripod, centre column fully extended. Manual focus (no IS) and I'm told it can't be done:).
