    What would possess a roadrunner to act this way?

    Zitting Cisticola

    Started arriving about a month back. This one with a butterfly/moth catch was behaving a bit strangely. Every now & then he would take off & fly from bush to bush; hovering around for a while in between. May be he was looking for his partner. Shot from a distance on a dull cloudy morning...
