    Which means my camera, anyway, struggles to focus properly. There were a few Common Greenshank out there. Thinking back, I wouldn't be surprised if I saw more of them in Australia than I've seen here!

    33 Celsius today. Twelve hours cycling and camo hide today. I would say "Well rewarded". Wader migration is already full in progress for weeks. Even the songsters already show up now (wheatear et cetera).
