    Didn't find a recent thread so apologies if there already is one. Anyway, walked the Loch Ard circular on Saturday morning. Birding was decent but as the day wore on the number of lycra-clad cyclists and dog walkers made it impossible. Shame as it has a lot of potential.

    Great Spotted Woodpecker

    While climbing Ben A'an, I noticed a tree which grabbed my attention. I staked it out, and 2 GSWs came and went, bringing food for the youngsters. Off to Crinan tomorrow morning for the weekend, so I'll be on again next week.
