Blue-tailed Damselfly
This was taken at the Cotswold Water Park, a huge area of lakes, some nature reserves, others for water sports and angling etc. We saw a nature reserve on the map called Lower Moor and set off to visit it.... hmmm the signage wasn't very good but we found our way in eventually! Avebury Ring
Last year I showed you a bit of the ring on the NW side, this view is the SW area, which you pass on the way to and from the car park. It's a huge site with a village inside it and a main road running through it too. The ditch really is as deep as it looks.- delia todd

South Lake
Well I think this one was called South Lake, the third of the lakes we visited at Langford. From this one you can just seen in the far distance three artificial islands which I presume were used by terns or something for nesting.
