7: great-billed seed-finch
8: thicket tinamou ("THICK-ET" ??stretching it? or have we missed the theme?)
10: thin-billed flycatcher-warbler

5 has me stumped to this point, but I have the rest.

Sorry about that Ken... you are right about Thicket Tinamou - I actually meant to say there was an odd one out his time.

You got it!

(No.5 is the real stinker!)

Hmm! 13 minutes!

Clue was obviously too good!!! ;)

Well done everyone... there'll be a new batch later!

Once again I'm too late, having been unable to get on-line for a couple of days. But I got the Short-bearded Melidictes without the clue, although in my lists it's called a Honeyeater, Meledictes only showing up in the scientific name. May I ask what list you use for your names, Birdman?

And here's one for you: KILL TREE? DUMB, RICH!

Again, thanks for the fun!

I use Sibley Monroe (essentially the same list as the GGBC list that you can access on robinms GGBC site).

I'll try to get back to you with an answer to your anagram... it's not nearly as easy on this side of the fence!!!
